Principal, Environmental Analysis & Permitting Division Manager

Mr. Chanson has been with BIO-WEST for 28 years. He is a principal and the Environmental Analysis and Permitting Division Manager. He is responsible for managing, coordinating, preparing, and reviewing a wide variety of environmental documents. Some of his responsibilities have included scoping, public involvement, agency coordination, alternatives and feasibility assessments, impact analyses, and document preparation. He has 31 years of experience and a B.S. in Wildlife Management from University of Wisconsin.

  • Proficient in project management

  • Extremely familiar with NEPA compliance and permitting

  • Has considerable experience in project coordination and directing interdisciplinary resource teams

  • Experienced in managing and conducting biological surveys for threatened, endangered, and sensitive species

  • Certified in field survey techniques involving black-footed ferrets
