Botany Technician

Ms. Buck is a botany technician who recently began full-time work at BIO-WEST. She is currently working on vegetation mapping for the vegetation section of BIO-WEST's project with Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. She holds a B.S. in Botany from Weber State University and an A.A.S. in General Studies from Salt Lake Community College.

  • Strong knowledge of plant anatomy and function

  • Strong foundation of ecosystem interactions and soil communities

  • Experienced in delineation of plant communities
