Environmental Planner

Ms. Porreca has 8 years of professional experience, which includes teaching, researching, environmental planning, and community planning. Her education consists of environmental sociology, social issues/problems, international and urban development, public space, land-use change, socio-spatial theory, and agriculture. Currently, Ms. Porreca is working on developing a GIS-based planning model for the Utah Department of Transportation. She will receive her Ph.D. in sociology from Utah State University this year, and holds a M.L.A. in landscape architecture from Utah State University and a B.A. in English literature from the Catholic University of America.
