Watershed Technician

As a graduate of the geography program at the University of Utah, Mr. Daniels joined the BIO-WEST team in 2009. His background includes geomorphology, fluvial geomorphology, fisheries, and watershed science. Mr. Daniels is an experienced user of ArcGIS 9.3, and is able to effectively utilize GPS/GIS technologies. Additionally, his work-related experiences in the field have allowed him to develop unique observational skills, which are complimented by his abilities to coordinate and communicate well with colleagues and clients. Mr. Daniels has participated in fish habitat evaluations, stormwater sampling efforts, and invasive species assessments; independently studied wetland delineation/classification and landslide hazards; and assisted with event programming. He also has experience creating methodologies for scientific studies and developing site management plans. Mr. Daniels holds a B.S. in geography from the University of Utah.
