Fisheries and Environmental Technician
Mr. Eddie has worked as a fisheries and environmental technician for BIO-WEST for one year. He is currently working on a number of BIO-WEST projects, including the Watterson Stream Restoration project, Canyons Resort Environmental Monitoring project, and Provo River Water Sampling project. Proficient in the use and calibration of computerized Limnoterra FMB-IV fish measuring board and Doran 8000 M scale PC/Mac literate, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Fireworks MX Expert in the use of GPS and coastal maps for sampling site identification as well as day and night navigation PADI-certified open-water diver Stream alteration permitting Total station surveying methodology Weir design and construction Stream restoration and bank protection implementation Fisheries sampling techniques and strategies, and threatened & endangered fisheries monitoring Environmental and water quality monitoring SWP3 implementation and inspections and NPDES inspections
