Restoration Technician

Travis Taylor recently started work as a restoration technician at BIO-WEST. Some of his duties include environmental monitoring and erosion control, water quality sampling, data processing, general field work, and vegetation identification, inventory, and mapping. He holds a B.S. in Restoration and Conservation Ecology from Utah State University.

Skills & Qualifications

Experienced with various statistical analysis and data processing methods

Knowledge of flora identification in the Intermountain West and the Mojave Desert

Familiar with experimental design and experienced in conducting scientific experiments

Avalanche II certified

Experienced with GIS and other mapping utilities
