Restoration Technician

Mr Taylor has more than 5 years of experience in natural resources and environmental work. He has extensive knowledge of plant species and is skilled at plant identification, especially in the Intermountain West. Mr. Taylor has experience with GIS and GPS applications, field-data collection including vegetation inventory and mapping, stream-survey methods, statistical analysis in Microsoft Excel, and word processing. Mr. Taylor is familiar with experimental design and adept at conducting scientific experiments. He holds a B.S. in restoration and conservation ecology from Utah State University. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experienced with various statistical-analysis and data-processing methods

  • Knowledge of flora identification in the Intermountain West and Mojave Desert

  • Familiar with experimental design and experienced in conducting scientific experiments

  • Avalanche Level II certified

  • Experienced with GIS and other mapping utilities
