Utah Department of Transportation Planning SupportUtah Department of Transportation Planning Support BIO-WEST, as part of a consultant team, is providing support to the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Planning Division in meeting their various mission objectives. This includes research into and the presentation of information relative to the technical aspects of air quality in Utah and its implications to transportation planning, climate change, and carbon footprint evaluation for the state transportation system, and the development of a Planning and Environmental Linkage system which collects, compiles, and analyzes the full range of natural resource, built environment, and socio-economic data relative to long-range transportation planning for Utah. Utah Department of Transportation Planning SupportThe system utilizes existing geospatial data to assess the relative impacts of implementing all or portions of the UDOT Long-range Plan and presents the results via a geographical information system to facilitate better decision making.
