During Mr. Albrecht’s years at BIO-WEST, he has helped identify additional areas of research and monitoring activities necessary to address data gaps in critical life history stages of endangered fish species including the razorback sucker, Virgin River chub, woundfin, bonytail, and other endemic and native species. He designs and implements all aspects of research and monitoring projects, collects and analyzes fisheries and invertebrate data, conducts laboratory analyses and habitat and ecological field investigations, and prepares submissions for professional fisheries publications. He has more than 20 years of experience, and holds an MS in aquatic ecology from Utah State University and a BS in fisheries and wildlife from Utah State University.
