Moroni FeedBIO-WEST redeveloped and tested 10 existing sparging wells at the remediation site to determine whether they were suitable for biosparging remediation. A sparging system with equipment housed in a portable trailer was installed and connected to 10 existing and replacement sparging wells. The system was operated for 3 months and shut down for 1 month, then sampled and restarted for 3 additional months of operation. Moroni FeedCurrently, BIO-WEST is monitoring long-term biodegradation, adding nutrients, and conducting abandonment of selected wells.
